I thought my stall would never end!!  Finally!!  Today I got on the scale and my weight has started declining again.  I didn't lose an ounce between April 8th and the 30th.

I noted for the last couple of weeks I've had some PMS symptoms.  Then once my period got started, that's when the weight loss started again!  Has that happened to anyone else? [This question is obviously just for the women, not the men!]

Wootie woohoo!  What a relief that must be for you!  When I used to have my cycles, I would gain a bit the week or two before, but then lose once my period began, so that makes sense to me.  :)  Hope you continue to have a good, steady decline for quite some time.  Stalls are no fun!

And ya know, when I told my friends, co-workers, and family (who have ALL been SUPER supportive and encouraging) they seemed a tad puzzled and worried that I was on a plateau, as if I might be doing something wrong or maybe I had develped a problem.  I had to explain that it was normal to have these plateaus, just like any other dieter has.  It will be nice to tell them I'm back on my "downward spiral" again!

Don't you just hate that everyone is watching you waiting to see how successful or how much of a failure you will be?  I had people tell me that I was too old for this to work for me.  Also "at my age" it could be dangerous.  Goodness sakes I was only 50 when I had it done in Dec 08.  Now I know that isn't young but don't bury me yet.  Even my dr told me not to expect too much.  He didn't think I would get much below 200lbs.  I am at 4 months now and have 20 lbs to go to be below the 200 mark.  I would hope that in a yr from my surgery date, I would definitely be in the 100s.  Enough of my rant.  I am glad for you that your stall has ended.  Keep up the good work and enjoy the results.

Good for you! My weight loss has been S-l-o-w for a while now. A pound here and there. Probably since the first of the year. So I definately know what you are talking about. And it does seem that everyone watches to see if you are going to fail. They need to butt out!
And yes, I do gain weight around my cycle too, you are not alone there either.
